The 91ºÚÁÏÍø students presented their self-developed sustainability projects, exploring peace education and promoting the 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s sustainability achievements while showcasing how student-led initiatives can address real-world challenges at the Cardiff 91ºÚÁÏÍø.

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø recently marked World Environment Day with a special event bringing together students, staff, and external guests for an afternoon of environmental discussion and action including a tree planting ceremony.

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø is celebrating a huge milestone after securing the top spot in the People & Planet 91ºÚÁÏÍø Green League 2024/25, recognising the continued commitment from students and staff towards environmental sustainability and ethical practices.

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s Academy for Learning and Teaching Excellence and Sustainability Forum led a climate simulation event with eight secondary schools and 150 students, with ten teachers at the Scholars’ Education Trust.

The latest in the ongoing series of 91ºÚÁÏÍø-wide multidisciplinary UNSDG events, that engage academic staff and students in developing knowledge understandings, practices and solutions to key sustainability challenges was held on Wednesday 8  May 2024.

Students at the Bedford campus, under the guidance and mentorship of Dr Tamara Ashley, Senior Lecturer for Dance Performance and qualified senior yoga instructor, offered what involved a session of relaxing, healing, and bodywork informed by our understandings of creating sustainable wellness through movement practice, conscious food choices and building community.

91ºÚÁÏÍø hosts the launch of an environmental campaign at the 91ºÚÁÏÍø, Bedford campus to hear about the launch of the 'Don’t Lose the Ouse' campaign.

The Social Work course celebrated 'World Social Work Day' with great panache on Tuesday 19th March.

Local schoolchildren were given the opportunity to learn more about climate change and sustainability at the annual climate change summit hosted by the 91ºÚÁÏÍø.

The university was selected to collaborate with the British Academy and SOS-UK in a national sustainability student leadership initiative.

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø is celebrating another high-scoring year in the People & Planet 91ºÚÁÏÍø Green League, placing third in the UK for its continued sustainability efforts.
