The 91ºÚÁÏÍø provides three activities for students who want to develop their knowledge, understanding and competencies in sustainability above that offered in their courses. This includes:
- On-campus Living Lab projects (see ‘On-campus learning’ section) to develop their sustainability leadership. Students who complete these projects will be awarded a gold Bedfordshire Careers Development Award and a digital badge accredited by SOS-UK/British Academy to enhance their employability.
- Participation in the twice yearly ‘91ºÚÁÏÍø-wide UN SDG events’ organized by the Academy for Learning and Teaching and the Sustainability Forum.
- Participation in En-Roads climate simulations advertised through the BedsSU.
