Dr Mahvish Zahara
Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in Marketing
Dr Mahvish Zahara is an Artificial Intelligence in Marketing Lecturer, author, and invited speaker, recognised for designing and authoring one of the UK鈥檚 first MSc programmes in AI in Marketing. Her work integrates advanced data tools, machine learning workflows, and real-world business applications into a future-ready, career-focused curriculum that prepares graduates for an AI-driven global economy.
Holding a PhD in Business and Marketing, she operates at the intersection of marketing strategy, data science, and applied artificial intelligence. Her research and teaching focus on generative AI, automation, consumer analytics, and algorithmic decision-making, embedding the technologies reshaping global commerce directly into curriculum design and delivery.
Dr Zahara has led curriculum innovation across multiple academic units, developing AI-resilient assessment frameworks, co-piloting generative AI supervision models, and training faculty and industry partners in the ethical and strategic use of large language models in both research and teaching. Her learning environments are immersive, hands-on, and industry-facing, modelled on real-world MarTech ecosystems where students learn to code, simulate, and critically evaluate AI tools including Python, ChatGPT, and Google Colab.
She is a published academic and editor of several titles exploring customer-centric AI, conversational technologies, and AI ethics in marketing. Her forthcoming book with Routledge, Quantum AI in E-Commerce, explores the convergence of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, examining how emerging computational paradigms will redefine digital strategy, predictive systems, optimisation modelling, and hyper-personalisation.
Her work now increasingly delves into quantum technologies, advanced computational intelligence, and the strategic implications of next-generation AI systems for marketing ecosystems. She examines how quantum-enhanced algorithms, decentralised infrastructures, and emerging intelligent systems will reshape consumer behaviour modelling, supply-chain optimisation, and platform economies.
An invited speaker at Advance HE, global partner campuses, and international academic panels, Dr Zahara has also served as a guest lecturer at numerous Top 20 universities across the UK. She is committed to building AI-literate, industry-ready graduates and creating learning ecosystems where technological fluency, ethical leadership, and creative problem-solving form the foundation of academic and professional excellence.
